No more nap times

I have been worried about how I will cope once my daughter stops having her day time naps, she is now 2 ½ years old and down to one nap during the day for about 2 hours. It’s great gives me a break to keep going again in the afternoon.

I’m a single mum and like the rest. So after talking to other mum’s about their same worries and how they coped with no naps was interesting. It's Nap Time

I was worried but have to say its working out better for me now my daughter at 3 years old has stopped napping in the middle of the day and is going to bed by 7.30pm most nights, giving me some well deserved time to myself which usually means to bed early for me as well, instead of later around 9.30pm when she was taking a nap. My daughter still naps every few days when she needs it but so far my worries were for nothing.

My daughter sleeps soundly after a long tiring day of activities, which usually starts at around 7am, and just means we get to do more things during the day and finish up earlier. So to all those mum’s out their with worries about nap time ending, it might work out better in the long run, it sure did for me.
